In fact, statistics show that close to 15 million surgical and non-surgical procedures were performed in the United States last year. This increase can apparently be credited to minimally invasive procedures such as Botox®;, LaViv™, various fillers, chemical peels and other types of non-surgical procedures, whereas surgical procedures remained steady across the boards. What the overall increase shows, however, is that even in a struggling economy, people are still intent on improving their outward appearance and enhancing their true beauty through plastic surgery.
